Sharon P Copland
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Currently only offering online counselling.
Are you looking for someone who can offer a neutral, listening ear to work through life difficulties, that have either arisen recently or that come from your past? As an Integrative Counsellor, I approach counselling through various psychological theories, believing that as a person, you are unique. Working in a non directive, Person Centred manner, I do not offer prescriptive advice; rather a safe confidential space to express yourself and find your own way.
With a strong belief that people are searching for a sense of meaning in their lives, I am interested in how people do this. You might call this spiritual, religious or use some other terms that make sense for you.
During your first session with me I hope to get a sense of what you want to speak about. You may have a definite idea of what that is, or you may not, as sometimes that develops over the course of our working together, whether over a short or longer term therapeutic relationship.
Due to the current Covid restrictions I have been counselling online via Zoom video or telephone since Spring 2020. I plan to resume face to face work from mid May 2021, as well as continue to offer online.
