About Me

In these uncertain times, feelings of anxiety and isolation can begin to make us feel overwhelmed. With the added pressure of not knowing what might happen next things can feel out of control. At some point in our lives, many people will suffer from problems such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loss of confidence or feelings of being lost or stuck. This can happen out of the blue, or it may be triggered by bereavement, relationship problems, work issues or other significant changes in life. Therapy can help you work through these issues.

I can help you by providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore the things that might be stopping you from finding real meaning and happiness in your life. I offer short term and long term therapy. During the coronavirus restrictions I provide therapy online or by phone.

I adopt a psychodynamic approach, which explores how things you experience in the present can be informed by your past. In understanding these through time, patterns of behaviour and thinking can change, leading to enhanced emotional wellbeing.

I have experience of working with but not limited to; anxiety, depression, feelings of being sad or isolated, relationship issues, trauma, control, fears of being judged or compared by others and a sense of being stuck and not being able to move forward.
