Selena Doggett-Jones Couple therapy psychotherapist , N6
Most people have anxieties about relationships, intimacy and sexual difficulties at some point in their lives. Relationship and psychosexual therapy offers the opportunity to discuss your concerns with a therapist specially trained in this area of work in a safe, supportive and confidential environment. I have also worked for many years as a clinical nurse specialist in sexual and reproductive health and as a psychosexual/couple therapist within the NHS.
Until the service closed in June 2017 I was the manager and service provider for the psychosexual service for Whittington Health NHS Foundation Trust. I have a private practice in Highgate and Islington in North London. I have been a vertical module tutor at University College, London Medical School and I provide supervision for psychosexual therapists and medical clinicians within the NHS and privately.
I see a very varied client group for both short and longer term therapy. I work with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, cultures, religious beliefs, and social backgrounds. I see both people who are in relationships and those who are not, working towards an agreed, and realistic goal for therapy. This goal is fluid and can be modified as work progresses.
I am happy for you to contact me by email or phone. You can also look at my website www.highgatetherapy.co.uk
