About Me

I am an integrative counsellor with experience of helping clients with their anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship problems, among others.
I have experience of working both in private practice and the NHS.

Do you feel depressed or anxious, or are you simply not enjoying life as much as you used to?
Are you finding your relationships unsatisfying?
Have you recently suffered a loss, such as a bereavement, redundancy or relationship breakdown, and are finding it hard to move on?

By offering a safe, honest and non-judgemental environment, I aim to help you discover your own inner resources and strengths so that you can experience positive change in your life.

As well as working in private practice, I have also worked in the NHS, as part of the IAPT Lewisham service. I also have experience of working at a community counselling service in Waterloo where clients included members of the general public as well as students from London South Bank University. I have supported clients through difficult times in their lives, helped them manage their anxiety, and enabled them to build more fulfilling relationships.

I follow an integrative model, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques, depending on your needs. These include humanistic and psychodynamic approaches. I offer both long and short-term counselling. The sessions take place in an empathic, trusting and confidential environment.

I believe that the relationship between the counsellor and the person they support is crucial to successful therapy. With this in mind, the initial assessment would be an opportunity for you to decide whether you would like to work through your issues with me, and for me to get to know you a little.

Please feel free to give me a call or email me to discuss your needs and ask any questions that you may have.
