About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and have worked with many people with very different issues.  People often come to me feeling broken or stuck and I aim to understand what they are struggling with and to uncover the unhelpful beliefs that are often out of awareness which have so far prevented people from moving forward with their lives.  Seeing those same patients flourish, let go of unhelpful patterns of behaviour and make better choices for themselves are some of the aims of psychotherapy.  Have a look at my website www.sarahboltoncounselling.co.uk

Psychotherapy requires a willingness to invest in the time needed for in depth understanding and a commitment to change through the process of the therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe and calm environment where you can explore irrational and self defeating beliefs which have prevented you from living your life to the full.  I can see people up to four times weekly, but people usually come twice weekly. However, I will see people for once weekly therapy.

I offer both open ended and time limited therapy.
