Qualified sex therapist COSRT (Sen) Accred including porn addiction, relationship counsellor. Sara has been qualified for 17 years training as a general counsellor, working for Relate then the NHS as a sex therapist and specialist counsellor. Sara provides supervision for counsellors and students and is a qualified EMDR Practitioner used for trauma/ptsd. Sara offers daytime, evening appointments for couples and individuals. Sara is working by Skype and zoom and will shortly be offering face 2 face. Relationship counselling for clients who are experiencing difficulties.
Sexual issues can be caused due to variety of psychological reasons. Sex therapy is for clients with pain, vaginismus, dyspareunia, premature and delayed ejaculation, erectile dysfunction sexual avoidance, lack of knowledge, performance anxiety, orgasmia. An assessment is taken and an individual therapy programme is tailored to your specific difficulties. EMDR for sexual trauma.
Sex addiction is for clients where porn, using sex workers and risky behaviour is a problem. I also see partners and couples. Clients need to be motivated to change. A thorough assessment is undertaken and Sara will help you to understand and make changes. Homework could include a diary, reading and sessions are weekly. This work takes time.
