About Me

Choosing to have counselling is an important decision and deciding who to work with even more so. It is important you feel your therapist is the ‘right one’ for you - that you will feel safe and able to trust them and their work. I have worked with a wide variety of clients and helped people work though issues such as bereavement, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, trauma and relationship problems. I understand what it is to feel swamped by life and the struggles it can entail and I have many hours of experience helping others navigate a safe path through their issues. I am committed to helping you make the changes you desire.  In our sessions I will always be there for you, listening, supporting and caring. I will help explore issues and perhaps help you to unpick some of your concerns. Together we can make things clearer to understand and in turn easier to cope with. I do not underestimate how difficult taking this first step can be and will welcome you with warmth and a smile.

Training and qualifications

As a qualified Integrative Therapist with an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, I work uniquely with each person. No two clients are ever the same and so the way I work is never the same either. I have a range of approaches to help get to the root of your your concerns and I choose based on what works for you. I work with both body and mind in the exploration of your conscious and unconscious thinking.  In addition to my counselling qualifications, I have over 20 years experience working with children and young people which supports my practice.  I am an Accredited member of the National Counselling Society and a Registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
