Sara Andrews
Transactional analysis therapistAbout Me
Hello and a warm welcome to my profile. I believe that everyone has huge potential, often the life story we are told is not our truth. Therapy can help you explore your inner response to the outer world, helping you to become more self aware and self accepting so that you can focus on what you can control and accept what you can't. I offer counselling, psychotherapy and mindfulness sessions to individuals, couples and groups, online via zoom or telephone and face to face sessions in Seaford on Fridays. If you are finding life challenging or maybe feeling overwhelmed, confused or stuck in the past, or worrying about your future, then I am here to offer you emotional support. My aim is to listen deeply, with kind curiosity to what you have to say and to help you explore a greater understanding of your self and improve your relationships with others and your response to situations. I would describe my therapeutic style as warm, nurturing, energetic and collaborative. I have been counselling for seven years and I have particular experience of working with adolescents in schools and sixth form college as well as in private practice. I am also experienced and enjoy working with adults. I have particular interest and experience working with anxiety, depression, loss. divorce and complex family dynamics. Research shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the biggest predictor of a positive outcome, so I invite you to book an initial session to see if you feel I am a good match for you.
