About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a therapist, I work with a wide variety of emotional and psychological issues. I also work as a coach and personal consultant for those wishing to work on utilising their strengths and achieving their goals. My private practice is based in central London and Marylebone where I see individuals for both therapy and coaching.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and integrative approaches including: Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). However, I often integrate a combination of models as I believe each individual deserves a tailored approach based on their needs. I have experience working with a range of difficulties, having worked in a variety of services in the NHS. I continue to work in a crisis resolution service in East London. I have also worked in charities and hospitals, as well as private and corporate settings.

I am in the final stages of completing a professional doctorate in counselling psychology.

Therapeutic approach:

I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore the difficulties that you are facing currently and have faced in the past. I encourage a collaborative relationship, in which we can work together towards your goals for therapy. I believe in providing a friendly and supportive environment to help you gain a greater understanding of yourself, navigate obstacles and facilitate change.

I have experience with a broad range of common difficulties including: low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, long-term health conditions, trauma, PTSD, OCD, personality difficulties, eating disorders, bereavement, relationship issues, low self-esteem, assertiveness difficulties, panic attacks and insomnia.

I have a keen interest in working with those who struggle to cope with the psychological effects of long-term physical health issues. I believe that everyone’s experience of chronic pain and discomfort can be explored and alleviated through therapy. My aim is to help individuals find ways to cope and live fulfilling lives alongside these difficulties.

I have a particular interest in issues arising from hearing related difficulties, including hearing loss, tinnitus, misophonia, phonophobia and hyperacusis. I also work with distress that arises for those who suffer from vestibular migraine, vertigo and balance issues.

Coaching approach:

With a background in recruitment and occupational development I am able to combine my psychological knowledge with coaching experience to help you focus on your ambitions. To fully optimise your wellbeing, I believe we can use proactive interventions and your unique strengths to overcome obstacles to your goals. I use solution focused and CBT based coaching to help you with career trajectory, workplace issues and unmet aspirations.

First Session, what you can expect:

Once we have made contact with each other, we will organise a time for an initial consultation. This will be an opportunity for you to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. We will use this as a chance to think about what might work best for your particular circumstances. You will be able to ask questions and then together, we will create a plan for our work together.
