Samantha Clark Integrative psychotherapist , CT9
Hello, I’m Sam and I want to help you feel better: happy and healthy in your relationships and more effective at work. You’re unique, so I tailor therapy to suit you. Our brains are wired to heal, but sometimes we need help along the way.
Are you struggling with a specific problem?
Or feeling a general sense of unease because life just ‘isn’t working’? Perhaps you feel distressed and overwhelmed, experiencing mood swings and outbursts of anger that are affecting your relationships. You might have physical symptoms, such as tiredness, disturbed sleep and eating problems – or feel the need to depend more on drugs or alcohol to cope.
Whatever you’re feeling, let me help you face it.
Think of therapy as a chance to explore, think about and understand life, so that you can live it well. It offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk about anything. I’ll listen carefully and without judgement. From there, we can work out what the problem is, what’s causing it and move forward.
Who I am and how I work
I've been a practising therapist since 2005, offering a high-quality, affordable psychotherapy service to all kinds of clients. My approach is research-based and I enjoy working closely with people to help them heal, transform and reach goals.
My clients tell me they find me calm, genuine, warm and engaged. I value honesty, humour, professionalism and respect for myself and others. I won’t tell you what to do, but I won’t just sit back and listen. We'll have a lively, creative and interactive conversation, paying equal attention to your thoughts, feelings and body sensations.
Clients often work with me over a period of months, which means we can develop deeper trust and understanding. But I appreciate modern life is busy – many of us are time-poor and find it difficult to commit to long-term therapy. That’s why I work hard to make every session count.
Support when you need it
Would you prefer online psychotherapy or counselling, in the comfort of your home or a familiar place? That’s fine too – we can arrange this at a time to suit you and without a long wait.
