Ryan Lowe has worked as a child psychotherapist for the past 17 years and as an expert witness for the last 10 years. She worked for four years at the Monroe Family Assessment Centre, a division of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust which carries out assessments for the family law courts, where she both wrote reports and attended court. For the past six years she has been working priviately as a clinician, a supervisor and as an expert witness. She also teaches on a child psychotherapy training where she is responsible for both clinical and academic standards on the course and is on the viva panel.
Qualifications: Ryan has an MA in Psychoanalytic Observational Studies, an Mpsych psych in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with Children, Adolescents and Families. She is a member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists and the Chair of the ACP's Independent Practice Committee. She is also a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapist. She has also attended courses in Report Writing with the Bond Solon Legal Training Consultancy and Courtroom Training with the Royal Medical Society. She is registered with AxaPPP Healthcare.
