Roger Fife
Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist based in central London EC4N 4SA. I offer open-ended, psychodynamic psychotherapy. I offer sessions face to face, and online via Zoom and Skype.
I offer you a safe therapeutic environment where we can work together to explore your thoughts and feelings, with the aim of understanding the origins of any emotional difficulties, and gaining relief from emotional and psychological suffering. I will pay careful attention to whatever you bring to your sessions, in order that we may try to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and why any of these may be problematic or difficult for you.
Gaining insight into the nature of underlying emotional conflicts can help to bring relief. It can also open up the possibility of no longer repeating unhelpful patterns that previously may have held you back, or caused you distress.
Therapy is a collaborative process and I will work with you so that you can develop new ways of approaching your life that are less affected by old patterns and painful emotions. Gradually working through painful or difficult feelings may bring you more understanding of yourself, and with this you can become more emotionally resilient, and better able to function productively and creatively in your life.
