Overcome obstacles in your life and reach your goals. BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist. MSc Counselling Psychology. 21 years experience. In-person and online counselling for individual adults, including CBT, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy sessions in-person and via secure video meeting software.
I am a professionally qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, providing counselling and psychotherapy, on a short-term and long-term basis in an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Sessions take place in a caring and professional environment, which is sufficiently challenging to effect change. Working together we can help you better understand yourself, overcome obstacles in your life, and reach your goals.
I work with people on a wide range of issues. My expertise lies in the areas of social anxiety, low self-esteem and low self-confidence.
My approach to counselling/psychotherapy
There are many different approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. I work integratively drawing on CBT, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), which all have a strong evidence base. The quality of the therapeutic relationship contributes to a positive outcome in counselling, which is very important in my work.
I offer a non-judgemental approach, without discrimination on such grounds as sex, race, religion, class, nationality, disability and sexual orientation.
