About Me

I know that when you’re looking at directories, therapist profiles often all say similar things, and it can be daunting to try and work out who to reach out to. So, I’d like to begin by saying ‘welcome’. It’s an important step to realise that you may want or need therapy, and courage to then do something about it.

My name is Rebecca, and I a fully qualified, accredited and experienced Integrative Psychotherapist working online only via video, telephone and email. I am qualified with ACTO (Association for Counselling and Therapy Online) as a level 2 member and have in-depth experience of working online with a wide range of presenting issues.

For me counselling is a collaborative process, where we work together. I will help you to become more aware of your experiences, beliefs and behaviours from your past and reveal how they might be affecting your thoughts, behaviours, and experiences in the present. Together in therapy we can address these and reframe them into healthier ways of being that enable life to move forward.

It’s not unusual to find the idea of beginning therapy daunting or overwhelming. It’s normal to not know what you can expect from therapy, or to not know how you should approach it. What you do need to know is there isn’t a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way, therapy is all about you bringing yourself. Together in a safe, confidential space, at a pace that you are comfortable with, we will explore whatever is bringing you to therapy at this time.

To arrange an initial consultation, call or email me. In the first session, we will talk about you, your background, and about what you would like to get out of counselling. It gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and for you to decide if the space is right for you with no obligation or pressure to move forward.
