Re-Emerge Counselling
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I am a BACP registered and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, and Level 2 trained IFS therapist, offering weekly one-to-one sessions to adults (18+) on a short-term and open-ended basis
You might be looking for a counsellor or psychotherapist because of a specific issue or a general sense of ‘things not being quite right’. My main focus is on building a warm, supportive and safe place where you can be fully yourself and talk freely about your concerns without fear of being judged. Whatever you bring to therapy I will treat your experience with respect and as unique and subjective to your own personal circumstances.
Working through your worries and identifying challenging thoughts, emotions and behaviours will help you to make a better sense of your current but also past difficulties and how those are often related. With the help of empathic exploration, gentle probing and intuitive insight my main aim is to help you to get in touch with your own inner resources, achieve a deeper understanding of yourself and explore new ways of being and relating to others.

Fees
I understand that making the first step is often the hardest for many people. Therefore, if you would like to have no-obligatory chat and get more information, please feel free to contact me by phone or an email. We can then arrange an initial session to get to know each other and see if I could be of any help to you.
I offer free no-obligatory 15 minutes' phone consultation. The fee is £70 per session, sessions are usually weekly via Zoom and last 60 minutes.
My availability is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Training and qualifications
My qualifications include a BACP accredited Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BSc (Honours) degree in Psychology with Counselling Skills. I am a registered BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) member.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I have been influenced by various therapeutic modalities that I use depending on client’s needs and preferences, including Psychodynamic and Attachment Theories, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other Humanistic approaches. I am also Level 2 trained IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist and having experienced its positive results with clients, it is increasingly becoming the core of my work. However, I believe that the most significant factor facilitating client’s change and growth is the trust within the client-therapist relationship.
I have gained an extensive experience of working across a range of mental health services including Samaritans, Bereavement services and NHS. My gentle and compassionate approach has been particularly benefiting clients struggling with issues around low self-esteem, self-blame and shameful feelings, which often lead to anxiety, depression and a sense of isolation.
Having previously lived and worked in various places around the globe including Europe, America and the Middle East, I also have a good understanding of the challenges that expatriates and cultural minorities face within multicultural environments.
