Hello and a very warm welcome. My name is Rachel and I am a CBT therapist. As you find yourself here, you may be feeling stuck in life at the moment and perhaps issues or difficulties may be causing you to feel distress or to feel overwhelmed. I am here to help you get "unstuck" and through therapy achieve lasting and meaningful change in your life. I will gently help you move towards your goals and lead a more fulfilled life. I offer a free informal chat (30 mins) in the first instance. Subsequent weekly therapy sessions are £50.00.

I am here to gently help you make sense of the difficulties in your life by giving you understanding, empathy and support. Finding the right therapist that you genuinely connect with is important, therefore I warmly invite you take advantage of a free informal chat to see how we could work together, helping you move towards better long lasting wellbeing.

Training and qualifications

I am a fully qualified CBT therapist, tailoring a range of therapeutic techniques to your unique needs. I offer a warm, encouraging and non-judgemental space for you to share your thoughts and feelings, with us working together and empowering you to find a pathway forward.

I have experience of working with people with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, anger, depression and self-esteem. I also have ten years experience of working with unpaid carers and helping them cope with the impact of caring on their lives. 

Qualifications: SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork: A CBT Approach.

  • COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills.
  • BSc (First Class Hons) Psychology with Sociology and Social Policy.
  • Individual member of BACP.
