About Me

I am an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist  and EMDR Practitioner working with adults, children and young people and have been working professionally for 13 years in private practice and in a variety of mental health settings, including The Priory Hospital. As well as working in my private practice I am also a Therapy Service Manager for RISE - a domestic violence based charity in Brighton  I am also an accredited clinical supervisor.

I am a humanistic, person-centred practitioner and work relationally and creatively to find an approach that works for you.

I integrate a range of theoretical perspectives including Gestalt Therapy, Attachment Theory and TA,  CBT  and EMDR.  I have a particular interest in working with trauma and have vast experience working with depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.

As well as offering a safe, non- judgemental space to talk I also work with a range of creative forms including: drawing/painting/collaging/sand-tray/writing/clay/body-work and music – allowing symbolism and metaphor to support communication and facilitate profound transformation.

I am UKCP registered, trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and work according the code and ethics of the UKCP. I have full professional liability insurance.

I have an arts based background and previously working as an actor, theatre director and senior lecturer in Theatre Practises .
