Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Perhaps you’re feeling anxious, stressed or struggling with low moods. Maybe you’re short on confidence or feel overwhelmed. You don’t need to feel this way and you don’t have to go it alone.
I can support you in a compassionate, non- judgemental way and offer you a safe and confidential space where you can truly be heard and understood.
By building a warm & trusting relationship, we can work together to get a deeper understanding of the issues you’re facing.
Whether your aim is to find effective ways of coping, simply to feel better or to address long standing issues, I’ll draw on my training and experience to offer you suggestions, but never impose them on you.
We’ll agree your aims and a way of working that suits you to ensure you feel motivated and fully supported to get the most out of therapy.
I understand that getting started in therapy can be daunting so I am always happy to have a friendly chat over the phone or via Zoom so we can meet and you can ask any questions before booking an appointment.
Please get in touch if you feel I could be of benefit to you.

Training and qualifications
I'm a qualified psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) This means I meet their standards of proficiency and abide by their code of ethics.
I’ve counselled both in the voluntary sector dealing with referrals from GP’s as well as in private practice giving me a strong background in helping individuals with a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems and many more.
I’ve undertaken extensive training in psychological therapies including a Post Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Leeds Beckett University.
I maintain a strong professional interest in psychological therapies research and practice as well as mental health more generally, and take part in regular on-going training (CPD). In addition, I have a clinical one to one supervision as a BACP requirement.
