Pascale Lane
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
My name is Pascale Lane and I am an Attachment Based Counsellor based in Sutton, Surrey.
I work with individuals and with couples and have an extensive professional background which has given me experience and insight into all manner of personal and family difficulties.
My therapeutic approach is Person Centred which allows clients to take the lead in discussions in order to discover their own solutions. As a therapist, my role is to act as a facilitator, listening without judgment and acknowledging the client’s experience and emotion; to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.
I also follow a Psychodynamic approach which is based on the belief that our early childhood experiences affect our current behaviour and thinking. With this in mind, I am able to help my clients draw on early experiences which may be influencing their relationships and behaviours in the present, be it consciously or unconsciously. By having an awareness of these early connections, individuals can make an informed choice on how they wish their behaviour to be different and begin the process of change.
I work in Carshalton Beeches and am flexible in my approach. I am able to provide face to face and telephone sessions, online session via secure platforms, including email and instant messaging. I am also able to see you in your home, providing this is a safe and confidential area. I will work with children and young adults as part of family counselling but do not work with children individually under the age of 16.
To discuss ways of working or any queries you may have about my working arrangements, call me on 0203 137 3008 or you can email me and we will schedule a free and confidential 30 minute chat.
I will get back to you as soon as possible and always aim to have made contact within 24 hours. If you would like contact to be made confidentially, please do let me know in the message so that I can respond appropriately.
