Nathan Burt Integrative therapist ,
Training and qualifications
My professional background is twofold. For 25 years I worked in the Communications sector growing a part-time role during school into international roles for corporate brands and advertising networks. Managing projects in pressurised environments evolved into leading teams and mentoring individuals. The need to manage personal loss in 2011 re-connected me to ‘The Road Less Travelled' by M. Scott Peck, a study of psychology and human behaviour I'd initially read in 1997.
Navigating the above prompted my decision to formally train as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist at Regents University in 2013 - including a clinical placement in Central London. Upon qualifying with the bacp*, I transitioned careers during 2016 by integrating all my experience to start my private practice - The Unsaid Space. I've since spent over 4500 therapeutic hours working with individuals privately, as well as on-site in businesses running clinics and educational workshops. I work in a creative and integrative way and continue to study human psychology and behaviour extensively.
