Natasha Martin
Mindfulness counsellorAbout Me
I am an integrative counsellor who works with both adults and children. I offer a safe, empathic, non-judgmental space in which to explore whatever is on your mind. You maybe feeling confused, lonely, anxious, panicky of what is happening or what the future holds or even overwhelmed or detached. These are all responses which start arising when we feel we have no control of our lives. As your counsellor I will help you make sense of these emotions and we will work together to understand, accept and overcome these feelings in a way that feels most comfortable and safe for you.
As an integrative Counsellor I tailor my approach to what suits you, and what you feel most comfortable with. I have a personal and professional interest in Mindfulness, and often incorporate these techniques in my sessions. Mindfulness can calm and help us become more present in the here and now, giving us an understanding of what really matters.
I will never judge you or tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. I believe that compassion, connection and trust lie at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. My role is to listen and strengthen trust in your own inner self. It is as we develop and build on compassion and awareness that we allow the space for real change to take place.
