Dr Natalie Raiher Integrative psychologist , NW6
As a Chartered Psychologist, I have experience and expertise in providing evidence-based psychological support and therapy to adults and adolescents who are in distress, or who are experiencing unhappiness and confusion.
People consult me for help in dealing with the full range of human experiences, including anxiety and depression, relationship problems, eating problems and pre-and post-natal issues. I am widely known for my work with stress and burnout, be this in the workplace, or more generally, with the competing and often conflicting demands that life makes of us.
My aim is to create a safe space where people can deepen their understanding of the unhelpful patterns in their lives, increase their resources, and build resilience - where they can heal, experiment and grow and ultimately lead more fulfilling lives that are aligned with their values and aspirations. My clients describe me as warm, professional and compassionate.
I support people both to make sense of uncomfortable emotions and behaviours, and also with practical tools and techniques to manage and change these. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach, and work integratively, using a variety of approaches to tailor each course of therapy to the specific needs of each client. Some of the approaches I use include CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, DBT and mindfulness. I see people for both short-term and long-term therapy.
My career has spanned NHS, private and community settings in the UK and abroad, and has included inpatient and outpatient facilities. I currently divide my time between The Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone and my private practice
I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS).
