I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic counsellor (Dip. Couns, FD (Open) and Clinical Supervisor (Dip.Sup) and offer a service working with both adults, teenagers and children. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Service and adhere to their guidance. I hold appropriate insurance. I work on a regular basis with depression and anxiety as well as other mental health issues and also work with childhood trauma. As well as being a counsellor I am qualified in childcare and education and have spent over 30 years working in a range of services including education, social services, private and voluntary settings and for the NHS. I have worked with children with disabilities and I am a trained Children and Young Person's Counsellor with Relate. I tutor counselling students.
