Mary Flynn
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I’m Mary, a very warm welcome to you. I’m a psychotherapist and very fortunate to work out of my private practice in beautiful Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
I take an integrative approach which enables me to work with each individual in a way that is unique to them and their needs from therapy. My approach also serves to integrate thoughts, feelings and bodily experience. I’m an honest, professional, reflective, open and curious practitioner and I provide a safe confidential exploratory space. I have worked with a diverse range of clients and issues. Issues including relational problems, stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, work related issues, domestic abuse, childhood trauma, birth trauma and bereavement. I undertake ongoing professional development.
I have worked within national charities supporting people with long term medical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease cancer and Aids. I have also been an associate counsellor with MIND and a domestic abuse charity.
I offer an initial free 50 minute consultation session during which we can explore what brings you to therapy. It will also provide an opportunity for us to get a sense of whether we will feel comfortable working together.
