Mary Flynn Integrative psychotherapist , HP4

There are many reasons why people decide to get professional help from a counsellor.  Whatever your reason may be, I offer a safe, emotionally warm and confidential space within which to explore what is on your mind. I bring to the therapy room an approach that drawns on a wide range of therapeutic principles. Coupled with my maturity and direct experience of personal and professional challenges, your individual and unique needs will be paramount.  My approach will vary on the issues you bring as there is no 'one-size fits all' approach to therapy.

My background training is in integrative and relationally orientated therapy at a leading UK institution.  I draw on and combine wide-rangining theories of different therapies applicable to the mind, the body and where they meet.  I worked for many years in the context of support for long-term medical conditions and my training has encompassed cross-cultural issues and issues affecting all genders including abuse, anxiety, relationships, work place issues, dependency and esteem.

I am committed to working on my personal and professional integration through reflective practice, supervision and through regular professional development following the BACP ethical framework for professional practice.
