Maria Hernandez
Relational counsellorAbout Me
Hi, my name is Maria Hernandez; I am an experienced counsellor specialised in relationship difficulties. I am a fully qualified and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My consultation is based in North London (NW8) and I also offer online services. I provide therapy both in English and Spanish.
I specialise in the areas of relationship difficulties, family breakdown, divorce, online dating and low self-esteem. Over the years I have witnessed many of my clients overcome the anxiety and stress resulted from their relationship problems.
I hope to connect with my clients on a personal level. I don't hide behind a professional facade, and I am not, in general, silent.
Coming to therapy can feel daunting at first, and it is important to find a practitioner you feel comfortable with. If you'd like to meet to discuss whether counselling could help, please be in touch for an initial free consultation of 30min.
My approach to therapy is humanistic, this means I work to build a therapeutic relationship with my clients, in which we can think together about their feelings and experiences and the relationships in their lives, both now and in the past.
