My aim as a psycho-spiritual counsellor is to provide a reflective, non-judgemental and safe space to explore your challenges at present. Raising awareness about your own process may help to look at yourself, and how you relate in the world, in a different light to enable you to make different choices in life and strengthen undiscovered parts of your personality.
I meet clients for 50 minute counselling sessions on a one-to-one basis and in a weekly framework at London Bridge (SE1) and Surbiton (KT6). Depending on your needs from therapy, we can agree to meet on a short-term basis to address a specific issue or long-term for deeper explorations of themes and patterns in your life that may have shaped who you are today.
Being born as 1st generation Filipino in Vienna/ Austria, I understand what it means to perhaps feel confused about your sense of identity and belonging. Especially in today’s fast-paced and competitive world, I was struggling to find a sense of purpose or meaning, when working for large companies in the City for years. Through listening to my own inner struggle and yearning, I have found the courage and resource within myself to make a gradual change to retrain as a counsellor and today I am able to practise both professions in a flexible way.
Training and qualifications
I am a fully qualified Psychosynthesis counsellor, who graduated with a postgraduate diploma at the Psychosynthesis Trust . My training is accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework. I attend regular supervision to continuously explore ways to hold and support my clients in the best way they deserve.
Besides my private practise, I am also a counsellor at the NHS in Putney and have been continuously involved in the Counselling Service at the Psychosynthesis Trust at London Bridge by seeing clients and, most recently, assessing clients and managing the referral process to counsellors in our pool.
Once you made contact, I will offer a free 15 minute call to get a brief understanding as to why you are coming to therapy. I will then suggest to schedule an initial assessment session to allow us to get to know each other and also to get a better overview of your life experiences and relationships so far. Our initial session will then give you the opportunity to evaluate whether you will be comfortable working with me as a therapist.
My session fees are £60 for a 50 minute session.
