Lisa WinfieldIntegrative counsellor
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (registration number: 343279).
Are you struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing relationship difficulties or feelings of low self-esteem? Maybe you are going through life-changing events such as bereavement, separation, a cancer or chronic illness diagnosis? Or reaching a point in your life when you are experiencing feelings of being stuck and not knowing how to move forwards?
How I work
I offer a non-judgemental, caring and confidential space where we can work through anxieties and concerns together. A place to sit with difficult feelings, unpick the knots, gain clarity and soothe.
I recognise how our past can resonate down the years to affect our present. My focus is to stand alongside you and together we can explore your experiences, feelings, relationships, hopes and fears to gain an understanding of what has gone before and how that can inform your future.
I also work supporting people experiencing the perimenopause and menopause.
Previously I have worked for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, at the Herts & Essex Hospital, counselling patients with all types of cancer at all stages (whether newly diagnosed or longer term, throughout and after completion of their treatment) and their carers.
I was also a bereavement counsellor at the City & East London Bereavement Service in Tower Hamlets.
I offer sessions in-person from peaceful counselling rooms in Stroud Green (please contact me for full details of the Covid-19 secure guidelines we have put in place for the safety of both our clients and therapists). My location has good transport links from Archway, Crouch End, Finsbury Park, Highgate, Holloway, Islington, Muswell Hill, Stoke Newington and Stroud Green.
I also offer on-line sessions using Zoom or Skype.
Please email me and we can arrange to have a preliminary telephone chat (at no charge) where you can ask me any questions you may have with a view to either arranging an initial session or getting you the support you are looking for.
OnlineI also provide my services online.
