Lauren Eede
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am an integrative counsellor with over 15 years experience helping people with varying issues and complex problems. I use differing models in my therapy and apply it to my practice as appropriate which means I am able to be more specific in the approach I use. I have a lot of experience in dealing with addiction, trauma, anxiety depression and bereavement with clients who are on the autistic spectrum as well as personality disorders and psychosis. Because of this varied client base, I feel comfortable in taking on a wide range of challenging issues and feel open to discussing any area of life.
I would describe my therapy style as warm, down to earth, nurturing, compassionate and at the same time, balanced with challenges to highlight blind spots or inconsistencies that might not be apparent. I believe this to be a very important component of the therapeutic process as this is where the growth and change is created. I feel that the discovery and journey we take together is very powerful, fulfilling and illuminating. I also understand that it can be a big decision to undertake, filled with uncertainty and doubt. However if you decide that you are ready to make the leap and walk with me, I want to reassure you that I will support your every step along the way.
I look forward to working with you
