Laura Jacobs
Psychoanalytic psychotherapistAbout Me
I have worked within the NHS for almost twenty years. I also have a small private practice. I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and work both long term and using brief methods.
I offer the opportunity to explore why and how you have become unable to move forward and live your life in a way which fulfils you. This may be due to past trauma, a recurring sadness and depressive feelings, which may include guilt and anger. If you feel you may benefit from the chance to explore your feelings and look at the underlying reasons for your emotional struggles do consider a period of therapy.
I also offer psychotherapy long term to psychotherapy trainees.
I am also a qualified supervisor and am currently listed on UKCP as a supervisor. I supervise counsellors, social workers and psychiatrists.
