Laura Isabel Moss Psychodynamic psychotherapist , NW11
** AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY **
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with many years’ experience working with a wide range of problems and complex mental health needs. Alongside my private practice, I work in an NHS service that provides psychological treatment for depression and anxiety disorders.
I am a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.
My approach is psychoanalytic: I work with individuals to bring to light what is underlying their distress in order to promote understanding and lasting change.
The work takes place within a safe and accepting therapeutic environment in which you are invited to express and explore whatever is on your mind. We work together to understand the issues causing your distress with the aim of feeling better and more able to cope.
I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapeutic work, depending on what is needed.
I recommend an initial consultation, usually between one to three meetings, in which to think together about what might help you the most and the best way forward.
