Hi Im Kristian a Counsellor based in Wakefield and Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. I offer face to face counselling but I can also offer this via telephone and online.

I aim to provide a relationship where people can explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them make sense of them. I offer this without the judgements that we often encounter in our day to day lives. I accept people for who they are, as I find them and aim to let them decide which direction their counselling takes them.

I work with people experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity issues, abuse and loss. This is not an exhaustive list, sometimes people come for counselling with a feeling that something just doesn’t feel right. This could be also be a relationship issue or a behaviour they feel they want to change.

I’m not there to tell people what to do but I believe through counselling a person can reconnect with who they are and decide what they need. I will be there alongside them as they explore their reason(s) for entering counselling and decide which direction they take their therapy.
