Kate Pisulak Person-centred/humanistic psychotherapist , B26
Hello. I'm Kate. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals and couples with their psychological health. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and self esteem, trauma and any form of neglect or abuse.
The common characteristic of all therapeutic approaches is human contact; I believe that each of us is different and also unique, each having different talents which, for various reasons, can stay hidden or impeded. My chosen therapeutic approach is person centered, not only because this was the main focus of my studies but also because I believe that every individual is valued and deserves respect. Above all, however, this conviction is my way of live and an inseparable part of my identity.
Training and qualifications
I am a professional person-centred approach counsellor, with a diploma in therapeutic counselling, a graduate of Coleshill Counselling Service, following the study of psychology at Open University. I am also trained in CBT approach and EMotion Focused Therapy.
I am also a member of British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling.
