About Me

I am a professionally qualified person-centred counsellor and movement psychotherapist dedicated to building an honest and open relationship with my clients. I believe in the uniqueness of each person and that our bodies hold our stories.
My promise is to facilitate your journey of personal growth and change by guiding you in the exploration of difficult or complex issues from your past or present in a very non-judgemental, confidential and professional space. I believe that:

• We have the answers within to our problems
• If given the proper support within a trusting relationship, we can re-connect with ourselves, others and the world.
• Everything is possible
• Through psychotherapy we can re-emerge with all our colours and live life fully.
• The compassionate presence of another helps us heal in a relationship

If you have experienced Neglect and Abuse then this leaves emotional and physical scars and I want to let you know that there is hope for healing and that life can be good. Therapy will take time because of the traumatic impact and the need to learn to trust again. I am confident I can help you and hope to hear from you.
I know it may feel daunting knowing who to choose to be your therapist. I understand this and invite you to take your time with this by chatting with me initially about your concerns and what you need and then giving yourself more time to notice how the sessions feel to you each week and then to make your decision
