I have been working as a therapist for many years. Initially through creative movement therapy where I was the director of the Wales school of Biodanza (RTSB) and later as a Movement Psychotherapist. I have been responsible for training teachers and other professionals in leading therapeutic programmes for children and adults with additional learning needs, autism and other difficulties across Wales for the Touch Trust charity for a decade. Over the last years I have helped people with many issues including self esteem, anxiety, relationship issues, stress and depression. As well as people with suicidal thoughts, loss, emotional disturbances, difficulties expressing themselves and childhood issues. My work as a Movement Psychotherapist included an appointment in a low secure forensic unit in Cardiff with young adults where I was the Movement Psychotherapist for two years.

My speciality is in Counselling in the areas of Relationship Problems (with self and others) and also in helping people with a diagnosis or not of Autism.

My training has been Person centred, Integrative and somatic based and I am an accredited member of the (NCS) National Counselling society who plays an important role within the profession here in the UK and who in May 2013 were one of the first organisations to gain Accredited status with the professional standards authority accredited register programme.

I am Professionally registered, have insurance, adhere to a professional code of ethics and am dbs checked. I understand that Seeking therapy is a courageous thing to do and at the same time it is not easy as there are so many people offering different techniques with promises of finding the solution for you but, it is super important to become your own health advocate and to follow your instincts as well as your intuition when it comes to choosing the right therapist to work with.
