Hello, welcome to my profile. I am an experienced counsellor and I have worked for over 17 years with many clients. During this time I have seen how individuals can work through adversity and life problems and gain greater understanding of themselves and find new ways of moving forward. I consider it a privilege to have 'walked beside' them during these transformative moments.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental, online confidential therapeutic space in which clients are able to talk about what is truly at the forefront of their mind. I stay fully present in sessions, and although I will not tell clients what they 'should' do, will offer different perspectives which we can explore together.

Successful outcomes in therapy are to a great extent dependent on the therapeutic relationship. This is why I offer an initial, free of charge telephone session, so that you can gain a sense of how I am, and what it feels like to talk to me before any meeting being arranged. 

I work using Zoom which allows you to access counselling from your own environment. This cuts out travelling time and may suit a busy schedule or personal circumstances. I recommend that you allow at least 15 minutes after sessions to think through what we have talked about. There is a need for you to be able to create privacy so that we can speak freely and for you to gain the most you can from the work we do together.
