Joy Hazlehurst
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
I offer a caring, supportive, professional and discreet counselling service in the heart of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.
I qualified through the University of Salford in 2001 and became Accredited through my governing body The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I gained much experience in working with a diversity of emotional, mental and behavioural difficulties through working as a Counsellor through North Staffs Mind for ten years. Alongside this I ran an independent practice where I received self-referrals plus clients through a variety of Employer Assisted Programmes, Occupational Health Departments plus Insurance Companies. I have also worked as a Locum Counsellor on the NHS IAPT Waiting List Initiatives.
Whilst Person-Centred (Humanistic) trained, my vast experience in using other modalities and doing short-term work I truly believe that the client will draw out of me what they need for their healing and growth.
