Jonathan is a Founder Member of the Docklands Counselling Practice and has been a Fellow of the ACCPH since 2021. He has more than 20 years of experience working with people with mental health conditions.
He has been awarded accreditation in sociology from The Open University and holds qualifications in mental health, nutrition and a Diploma in therapeutic counselling.
On the 9th of February 1996 Jonathan was left severely injured as a consequence of the London Docklands terrorist bomb which also killed two of his friends. However, he has utilised his challenging experiences to help other victims of conflict to move forward. Jonathan has frequently lectured at a number of renowned educational organisations and also liaised with governments across the world concerning PTSD and mental health conditions.
Jonathan is honorary president of the DVA (Docklands Victims Association)and has for the past 25 years promoted and advocated for those suffering from mental health issues. He has been consulted by the UK government and has frequently appeared on the BBC, ITN, ITV, Sky News, CBS,and CNN concerning mental health conditions. In addition, he has been featured in media publications and he also published reports addressing mental health which have been acknowledged by the UK government.
He has a vast amount of experience working in the charity sector on a broad range specialising in areas including abuse, addiction, ADHD, anger issues, anxiety, bereavement, depression, eating disorders, LGBT, OCD, parenting-related issues, personality disorders, phobias, post natal depression, PTSD, relationships, sexual problems, stress management, suicidal thoughts, victims of conflict.

Cost: per 1-hour individual session £65. Couples £75 per 1-hour session.
