Training and qualifications

I have a Postgraduate Diploma (Counselling) from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma (Psychology) from Melbourne University. My undergraduate degree is a BA (Hons) Public Administration from De Montfort University (UK).

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and joined to demonstrate my commitment to professional standards and to continue to further enhance my practice. The BACP Register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. 

I have over 10 years’ experience in planning and delivering effective counselling, case management and support interventions for young people, individuals, couples and families.  My clients have had multiple and complex needs including trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, family issues such as separation and divorce, family violence, emotional and sexual abuse, behavioural problems in children and adolescents and managing life with a mental illness.
