As we are all called upon to find new ways of working in order to manage this covid-19 period together, I am continuing to see clients using telephone and online platforms. I also have the capacity to offer 3 sessions per week to key workers.
I am a qualified psychodynamic therapist working 121 with adults and young people. I work by exploring your thoughts, feelings and experiences with you and I try to appreciate how your unique mind works. I pay attention to you and to the things you bring for us to explore. The aim is that the discoveries of exploration will support you in making clearer decisions, building confidence and feeling more satisfied in your relationships. The psychodynamic approach encourages an understanding of one’s relationships, including the relationship being developed between you and me in the therapy.
After training for 5 years, I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling & Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London and am a registered member of BACP abiding by their ethical framework. I have experience offering short-term or long-term therapy, we can chat about what might work best for you.
You may be trying to build a picture of what the future could look like - what ‘normal’ do you anticipate to be waiting for you? Do you want it to look and feel different? I would be happy to have a chat on the telephone to find out more and if I could be of help to you.
