Jeannette Bayliss
Psychodynamic counsellorAbout Me
"How can a therapist help me?" you may ask. I can offer empathy, I am trained to help unpick complex stuff, and am practiced at dealing with difficult emotions. I invite you to explore with me what shapes your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. We can think about your life past, present and future, and address possible changes you want or need to make.
What I believe helps my clients first and foremost is that I provide a safe space for them to talk and be heard. I am offering the highest possible degree of confidentially, and I don't judge or 'diagnose'. I am not the kind of therapist who sits silently the whole way through sessions, but I will give you the space you need to talk and think.
Sometimes it's important to talk to someone who is not in your family or network, and yet it can be difficult to pick up the phone, or even send an email. It takes courage and there are no guarantees. What I can promise is that from the moment you make contact I will treat your concerns with empathy and respect for your individual background and situation.
If you want to find out more, please visit my website, or get in touch and I'm always happy to have a quick no-obligation chat with people considering therapy. Send me an email or leave a message and I'll get back as soon as I can.
