Jeannette Bayliss Psychodynamic counsellor , SE1
As a psychodynamic counsellor/psychotherapist I am particularly interested in unconscious processes that shape thoughts, feelings and behaviour. So in the sessions we will explore together:
- What is happening in your life now
- How experiences in your past may have shaped your response to what is going on
- The ways in which you interact with other people and potential relationship patterns
It may sound cliché, but I am offering you a 'safe space': the opportunity to be listened to confidentially and without judgement. However, I am not going to just sit silently the whole way through. Above all this is a collaborative process in which I will offer some professionally informed input, tailoring my approach to what you bring.
I have particular expertise in working with young adults, however I fundamentally believe that whatever stage we are at in life, we all have the capacity to change and evolve.
