Janis DreostiIntegrative counsellor
In addition to private practice I have worked for over three years for a local charity, counselling individuals for domestic violence, sexual abuse, PTSD and depression.
Life's challenges and situations can at times be overwhelming, being able to talk through what is going on with someone who is non-judge-mental may provide clarity.
My role is to listen, not give advice or tell you what to do. Instead together we can question the way you look at things, the way you react to situations or people, and help you develop strategies for dealing with these situations.
Working together to explore, understand and to work-through your difficulties is a healing process that can help you rework the way you relate to yourself, your personal history and your personal relationships.
The therapeutic relationship that develops during our work together can help you to make deep and long lasting internal transformations.
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor combining Person Centred , Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, integrating various skills to suit each individual.
