Jane Faulkner
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
As an integrative counsellor I employ a variety of theory styles to tailor our sessions for you as an individual. As well as traditional talking therapy methods, I can bring in use of meditation, ritual and imagination. Together we produce a space for reflection which is as unique as you. I believe that flexibility is hugely important for successful counselling work.
I have spent over 10 years working to promote mental and emotional wellbeing, while offering support for those who are vulnerable. I have worked on festival sites, in community care centres, in a NHS GP surgery and in a hospice. I provide supervision for peer workers and am a co-facilitator for several unusual sensory experience support groups.
I have worked with individuals living with grief, suicidal feelings, anxiety, depression, relationship trauma and self-harming behaviour. I work in an honest and non-judgemental way. My clients can feel safe in their personal exploration and any discussion that follows.
