Jack Schneider Psychoanalytic psychotherapist , N8

You may be concerned about something which has troubled for many years or perhaps something which has happened more recently. I offer both short term counselling and also longer term psychotherapy depending on your needs. I work with clients on a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship problems, mood swings, trauma, bereavement, hopelessness etc.

I believe that psychotherapy helps to uncover self-limiting beliefs and behaviours -which are usually unconscious- and to open up new ways of thinking, feeling and relating. This can bring about change, personal growth and lead to a much happier, more productive and creative way of being.

I am an experienced, qualified and fully accredited psychotherapist and counsellor. I work with NHS clients in South London, and in private practice at Crouch End in north London and at London Bridge in central London. I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term therapy depending on your needs. All of my client work is currently online via video sessions.

Training and qualifications

I trained as a psychotherapist and counsellor at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation in central London and I have a Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice awarded by Roehampton University. I completed further professional training to work with NHS patients. I have also undertaken specialised training to provide counselling to prisoners at Young Offenders Institutions. I am registered with the BACP, BPC and UKCP.

If you would like to take the next step, please feel free to contact me to arrange an initial consultation. Regular therapy sessions last for 50 minutes and take place at the same time every week. The fee for therapy is £60 for online video sessions, £60 for sessions at Crouch End and £80 for sessions at London Bridge.
