About Me

Are you experiencing difficulty in your personal or professional relationships? Do you find yourself repeating patterns, in a manner which doesn't seem to help you or indeed appears to hinder you? Perhaps you find yourself procrastinating, whilst feeling increasingly overwhelmed by the feeling that you should be doing something and yet unable to do much about it?

Psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy is a talking therapy that aims to help you explore your behaviour, thoughts and feelings. By examining the unconscious aspects of your situation, I can help you to understand more about them and explore ways in which you can change.

I am an experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapist and a member of the British Psychotherapy Foundation, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).

I work with adults individually, over long or short term periods, taking each person's needs and circumstances into careful consideration.

Emotional difficulties I have helped individuals with include: depression; loss and bereavement; anxiety and worry; challenges within relationships and associated with intimacy; struggles with feelings of low self-esteem; shame and guilt; problems with life transitions, migration and identity. I have particular experience with those who identify as BAME or from immigrant backgrounds.
