About Me

Hello! I'm a BACP registered integrative counsellor and therapist working with adults. If you're here because you, or someone you care about, is seeking emotional support I'd like to help.

Whether you need space to offload or wish to change the patterns of a lifetime, I can offer you a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship. Together we can work towards a deeper understanding of what’s causing your difficulties and how these might be addressed.

Sometimes life throws us something particularly challenging to deal with, other times everyday events may accumulate until one tiny thing feels overwhelming. This can leave us at the mercy of our emotions, neither living nor feeling the way we’d like.  Therapy can be an invaluable way to manage the challenges you might be facing; however they arose.

The focus of therapy should be about living a more fulfilled and contented life in the present and future. However, unhelpful ways of being are often rooted in the past. By exploring this together we can help you understand what might be getting in your way.

Greater self-knowledge and awareness developed in therapy can help to develop better relationships not just with others but with ourselves. This can lead to increased self-compassion and a more contented way of being. Equally, it can be healing to process difficult emotions and experiences that you might have pushed aside in order to get on with day-to-day life.

My training is integrative, which means I’ve studied a wide range of theory, from psychodynamic to humanistic. This allows me a flexible approach when it comes to the theories I draw on - therapy should fit the client and not the other way around.

My fee is £75 but finding the right therapist is crucial so I offer an initial session for £50 so you can see if we're a good fit.
