Hannah CruttendenIntegrative counselling psychologist
I am an experienced HCPC-registerd Psychologist and UKCP-registered Psychotherapist offering sessions online.
I offer a friendly, confidential and collaborative space to talk about whatever is bothering you. I work with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety and depression, bereavement and loss, development trauma, relationship problems, and family dysfunction. My model of therapy is based on an integration of humanistic, relational and psychodynamic ideas. When appropriate, I will suggest a range of lifestyle changes and techniques including mindfulness, imagery and body awareness. My continuing personal development includes training in CBT, Compassion Focussed Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitizaton and Reprocessing).
Appointments are available across the week, and on Saturday morning.
Before becoming a full-time psychotherapist I worked in various roles in academic psychology, media production and management. I started counselling clients in 2007. I am now qualified as a psychotherapist and counselling psychologist. I have experience of working in the NHS and for various charities. I am currently involved in supervising research for Metanoia Institute/Middlesex University. I also work as an assessor for a low cost counselling service.
