About Me

I am here to help you find the root of your pain, understand and be kinder to yourself and support you through what you are experiencing at the moment. It is my goal to ensure that you feel heard and understood in your sessions with me as we work on your goals. It is common for autumn to feel like a transitioning period of stress or low mood for a number of reasons. There may a new relationship, a breakup or a new job. It is important that you do not suffer alone.

How therapy can support you:

Often therapy is about learning new ways to cope and think about situations, or it may be about finding better ways to communicate your needs to others. Other times therapy may be about exploring recurring patterns, unconscious deep-rooted feelings and memories that can affect our behaviour and create change.

How I work:

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy to individuals. I am an integrative therapist registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and trained in many psychotherapeutic approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy,  Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy so we can tailor the sessions to suit your individual requirements.

In addition to my private practice, I have spent the last years working in NHS primary care clinics and specialist charities where I offered therapy sessions to adults affected by depression, anxiety disorders,  low self-esteem and confidence issues, relationship issues, bereavement, grief, and loss.
