About Me

Hello and welcome!

Sometimes, life experiences leave us with little or no hope. The name of my Counselling Practice is EPOH. HOPE, backwards to represent the way I work. My aim is to work backwards through the following steps so you can regain a sense of hope in your life. I totally believe that given the right environment, you can slowly begin to see a glimmer of light shining through the darkness.

I will offer you:

Empathetic and compassionate acknowledgement of your lived experience without judgement and with unconditional positive regard. I provide a confidential and safe environment where we can work in partnership to build a trusting and comfortable therapeutic relationship.I support the idea that there is a connection between the mind and body. Therefore I am open to using researched based integrative methods, tailored to suit your holistic needs. The important thing to remember is that I work to your own pace. Only when you feel ready, will I invite you take the next step.

Past to present Exploration - My role as a psychotherapeutic practitioner is to work with you in your own unique way to identify, explore and have a deeper understanding of past pain/barriers that gets in the way of living a fully functioning life. The ultimate view is to work with you in the present moment, in order to find balance, restoration, resilience and empowerment.

Organic and creative process which is informed by you and what is brought into the therapy room. It is a gradual movement towards free flowing and genuine openness; always working in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Hope for an authentic self and autonomous living.

I provide - Open ended or short-term ( 6 to 12 weeks) counselling and Walk and Talk therapy to clients who may prefer to have their session surrounded by nature.
