Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
At times in life we can feel lost. It may be that we have suffered a bereavement or some other type of loss such as the ending of a relationship. We may be depressed, or suffering anxiety, and life can seem lonely and overwhelming. I am a fully qualified and experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counselor and I can work with you on a wide range of issues. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can feel secure and understood in tackling emotional issues. As well as working privately, I have experience of working with clients in the NHS.
Psychotherapy involves regular, planned sessions where you can bring any problems or preoccupations you might have. The relationship that develops between us is at the centre of the work, but we also look back to the past, to think together about how experience, sometimes very distant experiences such as those from childhood, can impact on our current lives and relationships. Many of us find that we experience repeated relational patterns, and it can take great courage to tackle them and understand what might be going on for us. I can accompany you on that journey with compassion and commitment.
